I have just gained an advanced days training with Marie Burns (Winner of Crufts 2016) grooming West Highland White Terriers. I feel I have widened my skills on this breed and learned more knowledge of the breed its self.

Each day brings a different challenge, I have been trained to a very high standard in handling animals whether it be caring for a 3 month old puppy or an old timid cat. With each different situation the welfare of the animal is paramount. Every pet is treated as an individual, we make your pets stay enjoyable, fun and very comfortable. I love working in our Grooming Centre and trimming all breeds to their correct standard, although sometimes trimming to the dogs owners request. I am a fully qualified City & Guilds Dog Groomer

Rebecca Bostock

I joined the team at Daisy Bank kennels in Summer 2016. Prior to this I have had 10 years experience working with animals including dogs and cats within the kennel, showing, grooming, cattery and veterinary settings. All of which have helped me gain useful knowledge and experience that I can apply to every day work at Daisy Bank.

I have a First class degree in Biology and a longstanding interest in animal health and welfare - both of which are utmost importance here at Daisy Bank. I have always had a passion for animals, I am the proud owner of 6 of my own woofers. In my spare time away from work they keep me busy, active and very much entertained!

I particularly enjoy spending time with the boarding cats and dogs here at daisy bank whether that be for extra walks or fusses and cuddles throughout the day. It makes me happy to see their tails wag and to know that their stay with us away from home is made as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

I thoroughly enjoy working as part of such a hard-working and efficient team and look forward to furthering my skills with the great opportunity of in house training offered here by Pam Gee LCGI

I have worked at Daisy Bank Kennels for 15 years, I am a Senior Kennel Assistant ,in charge of the Cats, my love of Cats started when I was given a Birman kitten which I started to show as he was very beautiful, he won many prizes, which I really enjoy, finding it very interesting, rewarding and exciting.

My training here took me on to gain a certificate NVQ 2 in Animal Care which I did on job training through The College of Animal Welfare. I also hold a Animal Behaviour Certificate from Wood Green Animal Shelters and a Royal Canin certificate in Dog and Cat Food Nutrition.

At Daisy Bank Kennels I have gained a lot of confidence in my abilities and job responsibilities, I love showing new clients around Daisy Bank Kennels advising them on what diet their pet should on which includes weighing if required, and helping them choose the correct brush, toy, lead and collar for their pet. I also love promoting this business as we are the Best.

I have always loved animals and have had a variety of pets as I was growing up,

At Moulton College, I gained my National Diploma in Animal Management. After qualifying my first job was working in a Boarding Kennels and gained a great deal of experience in dog & cat welfare. After working there for 5 years I felt it was time for me to move on.

When I was offered a job here at Daisy Bank Kennels I was so excited as it was the just I wanted where I could progress into management including customer care.

I enjoy interacting with the clients, where I can gleam information about their lovely pets, and to put it into practice, making sure they have the best time with us.

I find working in reception great fun. Booking cats and dogs in and out. I also love the experience working with in the pet shop helping clients with nutrient and answering any questions they may have.

Taking the dogs out for their extra countryside walks along the river is very rewarding, I love to see dogs happy.

I also enjoy working with the cats in the cattery, finding different activities for their enrichment each day.
